Here is the final pic for my first foray back into painting in a very long time -- and I genuinely loved the hell out of working on it. I tried something new, both in medium and subject matter and it has me feeling pretty good about this being where my new artistic journey is beginning. The framing job is all me, too. I do my own mating, glass cutting... you name it. It is becoming almost as cathartic as painting, itself.*Sighs* Just taking a second to appreciate the beginning, middle and end of this - the proverbial rose smelling. Now, on to the next project!!
